Saturday, March 29 — The weekend began with the
Community Temple Men’s Meeting and Breakfast. A time of fellowship,
encouragement, and spiritual growth brought the men together, while
a complimentary breakfast provided a warm start to the day.
Sunday, March 30 — The celebration continued with a
Musical Tribute to Anthony A. Gillard (Teri).
Spirit-filled performances by choirs and groups created an uplifting
afternoon of worship, gratitude, and joyful celebration.
We celebrated Black history with songs of praise, and with teaching and preaching, honoring the legacy, resilience, and contributions of African Americans throughout history. The event also featured inspiring stories, cultural performances, and a call to continue the fight for equality and justice.
Our congregation gathered to honor and celebrate Pastor Gillard and Elect Lady Gillard for their unwavering dedication, leadership, and service to our community. It was a joyous day filled with warmth, unity, and heartfelt expressions of appreciation for another year of faithful service.
The Hall of Faith service is a special ceremony honoring the legacy of church members who have passed, particularly the beloved church mothers who played vital roles in the ministry. This service allows the congregation to come together in gratitude, sharing memories and celebrating the enduring impact of these women. Through stories, prayers, and song, we remember their faith and dedication, knowing their legacy continues to inspire and strengthen our church community.
The Pentecost Celebration, held on May 18, 2024, was a day filled with great food, heartfelt worship, and overall an amazing time for everyone involved. It was a memorable celebration of faith, fellowship, and good times.
The community came together to celebrate Pastor Gillard's Birthday in 2023 with great joy. The event featured music, praise, and heartfelt tributes, with good food, making it a memorable day for everyone.
The Resurrection Play of 2023 was a profound showcasing of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The event was filled with emotional performances that touched the hearts of many.
